Surgery in Turkana

The project “Surgery in Turkana” was set up by a group of Spanish surgeons with the aim of giving surgical assistance in Turkana (Northern Kenya, one of the poorest areas of the planet), travelling as volunteers once a year, to operate in very poor conditions.

They have been doing this since 2004 thanks to the NGO Nuevos Caminos -which manages all the donations– and the Missionaries of St James, who have been based in Turkana for many years and whose participation allows these campaigns to take place.

We are doing our bit to support this big project, collaborating with their supporters in communicating and publicizing this charity.
