Surgery in Turkana<\/h1><\/div><\/div>[vc_row_inner equal_height=”yes” content_placement=”middle” gap=”35″][vc_column_inner width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]The project “Cirug\u00eda en Turkana” [Surgery in Turkana] (www.cirugiaenturkana.com) is made up of a group of Spanish surgeons with the aim of providing surgical assistance in Turkana (in the North of Kenya, one of the poorest areas on the planet), travelling annually to operate there, in a completely altruistic manner, in really precarious conditions.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This has been done since 2004, thanks to the help of the NGO Nuevos Caminos – which manages the funds raised – and of the Missionary Community of Santiago Ap\u00f3stol – which has been based there for years, and which collaborates to make the campaigns possible.<\/p>\n
