Daydreaming [Soñar Despierto] (https://www.sdespierto.es/) is a non-profit organisation that was created with the aim of helping children who live in shelters and residential centres and are at risk of social exclusion. This is done with the support of a team of volunteers, people who want to give their best to children who, due to different circumstances, have not had the same opportunities.
In Spain, the Foundation carries out its activities in Barcelona, Madrid, Seville and Valencia, in an attempt to reduce the consequences arising out of the continuous rupture of emotional ties suffered by these minors and which, if not compensated, can impact on their adult life thus conditioning their social and personal development.
VÍA Consultores collaborates with Daydreaming [Soñar Despierto] in this program. What would you like to be when you grow up? And also help in the communication and promotion of this NGO.
- What would you like to be when you grow up: To accompany children in their leap to adulthood, Daydreaming [Soñar Despierto], together with partnering companies, carries out a motivation and training program, the intention of which being that young people may feel accompanied in the process that involves their departure from the residence and, in many cases, their independence and integration in the working world. To this end, a training programme (Together We Rise) is underway, giving talks to youths, on a series of topics. Through interested companies, the lucky ones will be given the possibility of getting a first job and developing in the world of employment. Furthermore, for young people who wish to continue studying, within the program “What Do You Want to Be When You Grow Up?” There is a study scholarship program through which youths receive a financial endowment to further their education, whether at university, studying for an intermediate degree, or more.
